Mother Earth paves the way for our survival. However, lately, it has been facing a tough battle with littering, global warming and other harmful aspects. While environmental groups are common, how are we any different?
Stationed in New York City, we’re a small yet growing tight-knit community. Our operations expands globally with the incorporation of international volunteers. Our mission is to rewire the relationship our community has with their natural environment by promoting sustainable habits and a renewed appreciation for Earth. Our operations aim to raise awareness about the notion that participation in stewardship can be achieved by combining climate action with ideals that govern individual happiness and fulfillment.
Root For Change hopes to help communities gain awareness about waste management and encourage the future generation, youth, to grow more passionate about environmental science. To achieve our mission, we will focus our operation on habitual things that individuals within our communities enjoy. The three core principles that are at the heart of our community are arts, science, and innovation. We hope to incorporate these ideas into our events, research, and newsletter!
Our newsletters will be designed to make environmental/climate change information more fun and accessible to engage with. We also plan to highlight activities and opportunities in which where you can be involved in raising awareness/taking action.
Our newsletter team consists of our newsletter lead Cedric Pierre and skilled writers Edgar Karman Luzano, Oluwanifemi Williams, Ramlah Asqalani, and Vivek Kumar, who will be primarily writing the articles.
